About the event
2023 Gerontech and Innovation Expo cum Summit (GIES) is the largest public education event on elderly technology in Hong Kong. It is a flagship project jointly organized by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, with the co-organization of Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation.
This year, we have updated our assessments database to widen our protocol variety to provide more insights into our user's physical health weaknesses, and launched different training games to allow our user to strengthen up when being immersed in our virtual world.
In the meantime, we have also worked with different parties (universities, elderly homes, NGOs, and daycare centres) to improve our system in both technical aspect and user experience aspect.
